You Won't Believe What This Batman Writer Says

So! I did an interview with CBR this past week about PUBLIC DOMAIN, which meant I got into it a bit about the state of the comic industry. At some point I was asked about comic news sites, and I admitted that I didn’t really engage with them because of their clickbait-style headlines and articles.

Anyway, the day before the full interview came out they posted this article with an excerpt:

Anyway, at no point in my interview did I really talk about James’ influence on comic sales. I didn’t say they’d go up, I didn’t say they’d go down. I was just like, “James is a good guy.” So, yeah, I got clickbaited in my interview talking about how I don’t care for clickbait! I’m not even mad! It’s just funny!

Anyway, the actual interview had me putting my serious hat on. So go check it out if you like when I’m serious!

WHY SO SERIOUS

Because comics are serious business!!!

You know who else is serious? Librarians! They’re always telling me to be quiet and that library computers “aren’t for those sites”! So I’m beyond excited that they have deemed my work worthy with a STARRED REVIEW in the Library Journal!

What does this mean for me? It means I now CAN look at “those sites” on the library computers and they’re powerless to stop me!
