ALL NIGHT LONG
Today’s the day! The fine folks at comiXology have released the first two issues of THE ALL-NIGHTER! Jason and I have been working on this for a while now, building a fun new world of monsters and superhero-monsters, and we’re both REALLY excited people will get to finally read it!

The book reveolves around a group of vampires, living their afterlives in relative peace as they work in their all-night diner. But one of the vampires, a young man named Alex, wants more. He’s obsessed with comic book movies and superheroes and discovers a new life for himself as a costumed adventurer. But he doesn’t realize how radically this will affect the world…
PRO-TIP: ALWAYS end your pitches with “…” as it makes the reader VERY interested in what happens next!

Besides that bit of fun news, this week Daredevil 35 is out! The end of our big LOCKDOWN arc, with stellar pinch-hitting artists Stefano Landini and Francesco Mobili helping us close it out! And of course an average cover image from Marco and Matt:

(The thing about being a writer/artist is that the writer part in me gets SO EXCITED when I see how good Marco is, but the artist part of me gets SO ANGRY that I’ll never be that good!!)
Also! Apparently there’s gonna be free copies of our issue 28 to give away in comic stores?! For Halloween?? I think???
I love this issue. I think it’s one of our best, so I’m super happy more people get to check it out.

I just got a comiXology subscription a few weeks ago to read Scott Snyder's new books. Excited to check out The All-Nighter and Afterlift! Wish I had something funny to say here...
First issue is phenomenal. So much pure fun and vibrancy on every page.
(It made me read it backwards tho?)
If grades higher than A plus existed I'd rate it that.
