Okay, it’s a big day at Zdarsky Manor. My new arc, THE BAT-MAN OF GOTHAM CITY, begins today in BATMAN #131 and it’s nice and weird and creepy thanks to my old Daredevil partners Mike Hawthorne and Adriano Di Benedetto, along with our returning perfect colourist Tomeu Morey. With Jorge on covers!

It’s a wild issue where Batman is truly fucked. I pitched the below as a house ad for DC but they said “no thanks”

Their loss! I think it really sums up the issue!

Tomorrow in shops is the penultimate issue of STILLWATER! I have many feelings inside my cold heart as we prepare to close the story out, but the main one is gratitude for how fantastic Ramon is. Look at this cover!

After the big reveal from last issue on the origins of THE STILLNESS, things go even more haywire than usual.

Okay, the year is finally over. So I swear this is my last update on the ol’ Chipper’s inclusion on various year-end lists. I have mixed feelings about these lists! One, they’re stupid. But on the other hand, they may get more people to check out my work. So here goes!

Comic Book Resources put NEWBURN, DAREDEVIL and DEVIL’S REIGN in their top 25 comics of the year and then put PUBLIC DOMAIN in their top 10! That’s nice (and stupid).

The Beat also put PUBLIC DOMAIN in their Best Comics list, which was also nice (and stupid) and, shockingly, PUBLIC DOMAIN also got a shout out at The Comics Journal on their Best Comics list! This is like discovering that Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel was included in the Criterion collection.
