February 2023 is going to be CHIP ZDARSKY month at Urban Comics!
The beloved (I’m assuming) French publisher is going all-in on the walking NFT that is Chip Zdarsky! They’ll be handling the french editions of BATMAN, BATMAN: THE KNIGHT, NEWBURN and PUBLIC DOMAIN! It’s all very exciting. I’m often told that I “belong to the world”, usually by people who want me to leave wherever I’m at.

Holy Trinity indeed!!!
Anyone who knows me knows I hate Dungeons & Dragons. As far as I’m concerned, dungeons are for sexy role play and dragons are regretful tattoos that you get in your 20s. I’m not some sort of D&D nerd. I like cool things like Plastic Man and Dr. Doom.
My dear friend Jim Zub is so deep into D&D that I fear for his soul. He plays the games, he writes the books, he lives that life. He’s like a Canadian Joe Manganiello.
So, yeah, I never really “got” D&D until Jim showed me his latest project in the newest issue of BATMAN: URBAN LEGENDS, his story with Max Dubar (another D&D nerd!) called ARKHAM CASTLE that’s out this week.
Okay, NOW I get it!!!!
This is a really fun, cool story and holy SHIT Max Dunbar just keeps getting better and better! Like, if that Batman isn’t an action figure by year’s end the world is broken.
So yeah! Two thumbs up! Turns out all I needed to get into D&D was Batman!

The good news for the nice Catholic boy is that around issue 10 he's going to fall in love with someone else. Or at least sleep with that someone else. I mean, I think I lost track of everyone Matt schtupped in Chip's previous run. (Girl at bar, Izzy, Elektra ...)
