A lot of people in my life ask me the same question: “Chip, does it ever go to your head? Being so powerful and beloved?” Of course it does! I walk into any McDonald’s and offer them signed head shots for my 6-pack chicken nugs and it works 25% of the time.
But God likes to make sure I stay humble and She (yeah, I said it. #feminist) delivers me moments like this:
Anyway, it was a pleasure talking comics on CTV. It was all in service of a super fun signing at 8th Street Quentin’s (Quentin picture here), who decided to confuse passerbys with a big-ass sign promising Batman, Spiderman and KaganMcleod but delivering a sad lumberjack.
Also, in order to find that fun CTV clip I had to (shudder) google my own name, which yielded something v. cool:
“Ugh is he still writing Daredevil?” No, GOOGLE! I’m not! Are you happy now? Are you??
Anyhoo, today I’m at VARIANT EDITION in Edmonton, home of my birth, from noon-3! They’re all set up for me! Woo!

Wow...you’re a humble one ain’t you Chipper? Though THF, you are kinda on a winning streak so i don’t TOTALLY blame you for being high on ur success right now. Just make sure it don’t inflate your head to the size of a Macy’s day parade balloon. Though if you do get to writing for ASM main title one day, I totally get why your head might swell to those sizes, lmao.
Yes, I am still bereft that your run on DD is coming to an end this August, BUT Sal and co taking over is a SWEET consolation prize, so it balances itself out.
Now as for Tini’s Catwoman issue, is it REQUIRED to read the story for your upcoming arc after Knight Terrors, or can it be read separately, or skipped completely?
Also, how many more spots on the Canadian tour do you have left now, and after that will you begin looking to making visits stateside (pleasepleasepleaseplease!!!) anytime soon?
