Once again, I have retreated to the woods for the summer. Naked frolicking among the deer and ticks, thinking about Captain America and how much he would hate me and my lifestyle choices.
Speaking of CAPTAIN AMERICA, my man on the inside at Marvel sent me a pic of the proofs for issue one and holy shit it’s actually real!!!
Out in two weeks! I hope people like it, but if they don’t then they’re stupid and I hate them. Sorry, but it’s true!!
I keep wanting to show panels from the issue but every panel is a spoiler! You just have to trust me: it’s a good read (and so very beautiful!!!).
Also beautiful is the issue I had out LAST week! I contributed a story to GIANT-SIZED SPIDER-MAN #1 which featured a regular-sized Spider-Man illustrated by the amazing CAFU and David Curiel!
As always, truly a pleasure getting to write Spidey. Plus! We got to create a new character, named Rapid! I did my best to give him a classic “Marvel origin” and look forward to his appearance in Avengers: Doomsday!
This week sees the release of ZDARSKY COMIC NEWS #12! That’s right, I’ve done a dozen of these goddamn things! Unlike my other issues this one is actually informative as I delve into the world of MANGA! You’ll need to pick up the issue to find out what the fuck this is!
