This Sunday is FINAL ORDER CUTOFF for HARLEY QUINN: BLACK + WHITE + REDDER #1! I have a heist story in it with the inimitable Kevin Maguire (and believe me, I’ve been trying to imitable him since I was in high school), so if you want high-kwality comics, let your comic shoppe retailer know! The whole issue is excellent. There’s an amazing story of Harley’s past by Leah Williams and Natacha Bustos, plus a much better heist story from Paul Scheer, Nick Giovannetti and Tom Reilly!
As for my story with Kevin, it’s a tender tale of comics’ favourite couple trying to liberate various cultural items from a cold, sterile museum. Here, as an EXCLUSIVE, are the first two pages!
It’s always a pleasure working with Kevin. The last time we teamed up we delivered an absolute killing blow to Spider-Man. Why anyone wants me to write that guy is beyond me!
In other news, remember how at one point last year I had thirteen projects? Well, as of this week it’s down to THREE. And you know what the result of that is? Anxiety! It’s like my primal freelancer brain has kicked into high gear, screaming, “THAT’S NOT ENOUGH YOU WILL DIE PENNILESS AND UNLOVED”.
I’m sure it’s fine!!!!
Maybe I’ll try to “relax” this weekend. I’ve heard good things about “relaxing.”
Okay, bye!!

You have this “Substack” racket and live in a part of Canada where the cost of living is measured in nuts and berries. You’ll be fine.
So, if I'm looking at the Howard the Duck panel correctly, you've written Howard, Daredevil and Spider-Man. Seems like that was some sort of try-out? Can't you go back to Brevoort and say, "Hey, remember when I also wrote Captain American and She-Hulk? I know they have super-talented teams NOW but I can take over. I've only three projects!"
I for one will relax by re-reading Newburn ahead of the second arc. Have a good weekend!
