Newburn! Twitter! Spelling! Wow!

I heard that Elon Musk is buying Twitter?? If this is the end of Twitter as we know it then it’s incredibly bad news for comic creators who rely on it to aid their careers and incredibly good news for comic creators who don’t realize it’s ruining their careers! Good luck to everyone!!!

Speaking of Twitter, a great question came in from that website for myself and Jacob:

But! What a nice segue into … NEWBURN ISSUE SIX!

This is a special issue where we focus on Emily AND it’s a … two-parter?! Little did you know we’ve been secretly building a larger story in our little done-in-one series!

Jacob, as always, gets better and better. And he’s so young. Angering. Very angering.

And our backup story SPOOK-A-RAMA continues! Casey, Soo and Toben continue to make me feel things!

Go buy it!! And then read it! But buying it is the MOST important part!!

In other news, I wrote a STILLWATER scene this week with a walkie-talkie in it and just imagined when they were invented and unnamed yet and pictured some guy heading out of the house to test it again and his wife going “oh are you going out with your little ‘walkie-talkie’?” Has there ever been a more dismissive, cute name for a device originally used in wartime? I love it.

“Honey, I told you it’s called a WALK AND TALK!!!!”

Anyway, that’s where I’m at this week.
