In other news, for those interested in the very cool action figure of Elektra as Daredevil, you can now put in your order for one with your local comical shoppe!
Apparently this is part of a “SPIDER-MAN” line of figures even though Elektra doesn’t much care for Spider-Man and often forgets his name when they see each other. Also, that number in the corner says this is for ages “4+” but those pointy plastic sais just scream “8+” to me. Elektra would be proud.
In BATMAN NEWS, I answered some fan questions over at CBR. As usual, they asked the wrong questions, like, “will so-and-so show up” and not the right questions, like, “are you ok chip” and “why a bat”. To each their own, I guess!
In “oh my god I’m so proud of them” news, my AFTERLIFT and ALL-NIGHTER collaborator Jason Loo is just killing it all over town. He’s a serial murder version of killin’ it! Besides his always excellent work on All-Nighter, Jason has been doing a lot of fun work at Marvel and he’s going to be writing a backup story in Daredevil #11 Featuring Daredevil and Iron Fist! Not only that, he just created a new Spider-Man character: Peter Park, the SPIDER-FRIEND!
It’s super cool seeing Jason take the world by storm and be recognized as the amazing writer and artist that he is. I’m especially proud since he’s like a son to me in the sense that I’m old enough to be his dad and he’s always saying things like “whatever” and rolling his eyes when I tell him about the good old days.
Okay! A SPECIAL TREAT today for everyone! A Kaptara strip written by Kagan and illustrated by the legendary J. Bone! Jay is an amazing artist and you should follow his instagram for wonderful sketches and pinups and comics.
And obviously Kagan doesn’t even need me, this is so great. Ugh. Artists who also WRITE?! Makes me sick

With Daredevil ending and your work on Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men, do you finally have the cachet at Marvel to work with such beloved characters as Ka-Zar, Parnival, Zabu and Garrok?

But seriously, way to bury the lead dude. Won’t lie, I am gonna miss miss MISS you with DD, and hope that all u contributed to his mythos remains present for many years to come.
That being said, this ending might open you up for newer pastures out there. I know it isn’t likely, especially with u still hard at work on Bats, but if ur going to be writing another big hero, I certainly hope it might be one who can do whatever a spider can, spin a web any size, and kick ass while doing it 😉.
I do have a Batman question for you: I was surprised to see Red Mask was a super (gave off more a Batman and Joker mixed with dr Hurt vibe). Does his abilities play into his identity under the mask, and why he has them, or is that not really that big a deal and u just wanted him to have powers?
Anyways, hope ur doing well, and hope ur con run up in Canada doesn’t burn you out dude.
