L.A. DREAMIN'

right side up!

This week I’m in L.A. for high powered Hollywood meetings at various Starbuckses and I’m also here for ComicsPRO, the annual gathering of comic shop retailers! I’m here to give them all very nice kisses for selling my fun little stories to their customers. Also I’ll be giving a rousing PowerPoint presentation on ZDARSKY COMIC NEWS. I don’t want to spoil anything, but here’s one of my slides:

Should be a good time!!

Getting to L.A. on Sunday was not the easiest thing in the world. The snowstorms kept pushing things back, but finally I got on the plane and we began taxiing down the runway. But then I looked out my window and saw a giant cloud of black smoke from across the way and I thought, “well that doesn’t look good.”

Turns out my journalistic instincts were right and it was NOT good

It ended up being one of those fifteen hour travel days but at least my plane landed right side up?? What a world, man. Everyone survived, and this guy’s account of it all is something else.

So, yeah! A short update this week on account of plane crashes and being very tired. If you’re a comic retailer at ComicsPRO I’ll see you soon with kisses!!!
