If, like me, you’ve ever lived in a small town, you know the feeling. The strange old diner, the clothes and hair a decade out of step, it’s like time has slowed, or even stopped.
It was this idea that prompted me to start writing STILLWATER back in 2017, about a small town where time actually, literally stops. And now, finally, it’s coming out this week from the fine folks at Skybound.
Ramon and I have big plans for this little town. It’s a story that’s creepy and tense and beautiful and we hope you’ll be along for the ride.

I know! My dearest chum Matthew Fractionhew wrote a story where I get to draw everything I’ve ever wanted to bat-draw. It’s in the giant-sized DETECTIVE COMICS 1027, alongside some of the best creators in the business which is very weird to me. Oh, hey, here’s the first page of art:

I, of course, made my classic mistake of adding background gag details that are absolutely unreadable in the print form. So, as a special treat to my exclusive newsletter readers, here’s one of them: a special birthday card from THE JOKER. SPOILERS:
