It’s finally happened. RED BATMAN vs. GREY DAREDEVIL. The winner? You, the content consumer.
BATMAN: URBAN LEGENDS #1 is in stores TODAY! I know what you’re thinking: “On a Tuesday? I thought new comic book day was Wednesday!” Well, DC is sadly eight days behind Marvel, Image and the rest when it comes to releasing comics, so you have to wait until Tuesday to get those tasty DC books!
This is my first full-length DC project and I’m pretty jazzed about it! Our story in this anthology is a BATMAN / RED HOOD one where I get to delve into the fractured history of Bruce and Jason with some long-lasting consequences. Along the way we have some fun Bat-characters showing up and some new faces as well. Eddy Barrows, Marcus To, Eber & Julio Ferreira, and Adriano Lucas deliver gritty and touching art and make me look like I know what I’m doing. I hope you all like it!
Also, the rest of the stories in the anthology are top-notch! It’s a really spectacular package!
And on the other side of things we have RED BATMAN aka DAREDEVIL, THE MAN WITHOUT BATMAN’S MONEY!
Issue 28 is out Wednesday and it’s an incredibly special one to me with the fallout from KING IN BLACK hitting our characters hard. It may be my favourite issue that Marco and I have done and it’s called “ARE YOU OKAY?”

Also, this is the first time I’ve shown the new Daredevil in my newsletter because I was waiting for my friend David to read the fifth trade and he finally did.
