It’s an early newsletter this week ‘cause I’m in HOLIDAY OVERDRIVE! Which is less about buying presents for others (go buy your own presents you lazy shits!), and more about getting a bunch of work done before I’m forced to “relax” with my family for upwards of two days.
With the end of the year coming up, there are of course “Best of 2023” lists making the rounds, and I swear to god I’m trying to ignore it all this time out, but there’s one I want to mention, which is that IGN voted DAREDEVIL the Best Comic Book or Graphic Novel of the year!
This is special to me ‘cause Daredevil ended this past year for Marco and myself and it’s hard to stick the landing on a multi-year story, so I’m glad it seemed to have worked. I miss the title—and working with Marco—but this is a nice way to end the year and our run.
To my Mangasplaining readers, yes, I think Chainsaw Man was robbed.
But enough about the PAST! What have I done for you LATELY?! Well, this week, THE ALL-NIGHTER VOLUME 2 is in comic shops!!
It’s a very pretty book (because of Jason and Paris) that also happens to be a sequel to THE ALL-NIGHTER VOLUME 1! So if you bought and enjoyed that, you should get this! And if you’ve been enjoying the series D1G1TALLY, then issue 13 is dropping tomorrow! Here’s a sneak peek because I trust you!!!

You know who else I don’t trust? Easton Newburn. That guy is hella shady. And this week’s issue of NEWBURN proves it!
It’s a jam-packed ride full of action and betrayal and beautiful work by Jacob. And on top of that, it’s the debut of an all-new backup story about heists and RPGs by the extremely talented Amy Chase, Fabian Lelay, Desolina Fletcher and Toben Racicot! I don’t play or understand role playing games (I keep all of my role playing confined to the boudior) and even I loved this story!
And jeez, it looks like this is a Triple Chipple week? Quadchip if you count the All-Nighter collection?? ‘Cause KAPTARA: UNIVERSAL TRUTHS #5 is out this week as well! Showcasing the horror of Kaptarian battle:
