Okay! So far the tour is going quite well, maybe too well? Stayner and Guelph had huge turnouts, which makes me a little worried about the big cities? Chipmania (undiagnosed) may just cripple the municipal infrastructures when I breeze into town!
Everyone in Guelph was super lovely, it was a very fun signing, but the funniest moment was when I was in the home of The Dragon’s owner, Jenn, and she presented me with my 2019 Shuster Award for Best Writer??
I, of course, gave a speech as I would have back in 2019: full of my past cocky swagger and a bunch of references to how nothing could stop me, not even an impending pandemic.

Thank you!! I believe 2019 was the year where Jeff Lemire said “please don’t give me any more awards,” but I’ll still take it!!!
And now, this Saturday, I’ll be at WEST END COMICS in TORONTO signing from 1-4!
I done did a typo on the original poster and had it on the 27th, but it’s going to be the 29th, I swear! I highly recommend showing up early for this one because I think it’s going to be busy. And bring an umbrella as the shop is small so you’ll more than likely be outside in line! I worry about you!
In my previous newsletter I forgot to mention that DAREDEVIL #10 came out this week! It is VERY PRETTY.
