I’m still on Work Island, and while it’s nice to get away to focus on what’s important (work), I still like to visit the local shops downtown to take my mind off everything I have to do and—

Goddammit.

Anyway, I’m writing a lot of Batman this week.

True Chipheads are here for my big releases this week: THE DOMAIN #1 and THE WHISPER QUEEN #3!!

I’ve talked a bit about THE DOMAIN before: it’s the comic the Dallas Comics crew are making in the pages of PUBLIC DOMAIN!

I guess!! It’s a classic, fun superhero story beautifully illustrated by Rachael Stott and our colourist Eren Angiolini! Eren is also a talented fantasy illustrator so they’re going to be doing RPG-themed variants for each issue!

YOU KNOW WHICH ISSUE SPIDER-MAN FOUGHT FIRELORD

Uh, yeah, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Vol. 1 #269-270. I feel like that’s just common knowledge?

Anyway, I’m super proud of this series. It looks SO GOOD. Even if you hate me (many reasons), THE DOMAIN is worth picking up for the art alone!

Also worth picking up for the art is THE WHISPER QUEEN #3!

Kris and Matt are back and kill it in this wild finale. This was extremely satisfying to put together and I’m gonna miss these characters. At least until VOLUME THREE COME OUT! There are plans afoot for a part three to these Blacksand Tales and while it may not be for a little while yet, it’s coming!
