Today’s the day. BATMAN 135/900 is out! It’s a wild issue with a ton of surprises so don’t let anyone spoil it for you! Toss your phone out! Wear ear plugs! Sucker punch anyone in the street wearing a Batman t-shirt who starts to talk!
Everyone involved is very excited for this to be out in the world, though Jorge is the MOST excited as it’s his first issue back! To celebrate, he drew nothing but banger pages, doing things I didn’t think were possible, or LEGAL. You’ll know when you read it.
This was a hard issue to create, but I think it was worth it. It’s a real treat for me to work with and add to the bat-mythos, and I hope my excitement comes across in the issue.
TOUR UPDATE
I kissed my wife goodbye today (full kiss, lips) like I was heading off to war. And then I got in my trusty Zdarcar (2021 Nissan Kicks) and left Toronto for my month on the road. As you all know I’m a new driver, yet I chose today to be my first time driving on the dreaded 401. But, reader? It was fucking easy. An absolute breeze for a guy like me. Maybe I’m not so dissimilar to the brave heroes I write???
Anyway, here’s what’s next!
MAY 2 (Tuesday) 4-7
KINGSTON, ON! Nexus Comics
MAY 4 (Thursday) 4-7
MONTREAL, QC! Crossover Comics
I’ll be signing all sorts of Batmans and Spidermans, etc. and I promise not to get too much poutine juice on them during my Montreal stop
YOU CAN JUST CALL IT GRAVY
does ‘poutine juice’ make you uncomfortable
YES
(I’ll never not use that clip)
Bye!
The fact that you used a Sealab clip makes me wish I could subscribe a second time.
Hey Chip please say your still going to be writing Batman still I literally subscribed so I could ask this question and I read the issue it was amazing. I believe you really understand Batman and its awsome thanks for the issues and hopefully many more
