Hey Chip please say your still going to be writing Batman still I literally subscribed so I could ask this question and I read the issue it was amazing. I believe you really understand Batman and its awsome thanks for the issues and hopefully many more
"BATMAN 900 like wow" indeed!! Holy shit, congrats on this issue, Chip. This was an instant all-timer for me.
Reading this issue this morning was one of the best experiences I've had reading comics. I could not believe what I was seeing with Jorge's section of the book. Every change in art style had my jaw on the floor. I'm curious if all the cameos were in the script or if Jorge had any that he requested to draw. It was refreshing how '66 wasn't treated as a joke. Instead, you played on the expectation that the '66 version is a joke and respected that iteration of the character. The utility belt/DKR suit combo was such a great visual.
I appreciate your representation of societal class in both Daredevil and Batman, so having Alfred as the one to say fuck you to the folks in their ivory tower was wonderful.
Safe travels on the tour, Chip. Looking forward to meeting you in Regina in a couple weeks!
I’ll be back on here later today to talk about #900 when I grab it, but before that, just letting u know there’s a pic of u circulating in the discord servers from ur Canadian tour of u getting kicked in the baby makers by a fan. Not gonna lie, some of the funniest shit I’ve seen all week 😂.
I did it! Nothing spoiled before I read it. I loved it and I’m glad because I have every 100th Batman issue hanging on my wall and if I didn’t like it would be mocking me. Staring back. Laughing at me from that wall. That damned wall.
So yeah, glad it was one of the most fun, moving Batman stories ever. Pretty nice of you to do that.
I saw your comment about the DKR and it confirms a thought I had, that hopefully the experience he had in 135/900 gives him something to think about that can lead to change. Aside from the hand thing.
I hope you’re enjoying this run and thanks again for going for it with the big ideas but keeping the human moments at the center. Great, great work.
This was a very good Batman comic. I would love to read the script of it in a few months or something. Would also be interesting to hear some of the process on this one, either conversations with the artist (ie emails?) or interviewing them? Don't want to spoil anything here, but a lot of interesting process stuff I'm sure.
Wow...just...wow... I was not expecting Batman 900 to hit that hard. Lots of explanation and some mysteries revealed here, and some of the best multiverse fun I have read ever!
Side note: is he gonna keep the hand as it is?
But damn, so many fun cameos and appearances by so many of my favorite bats. I sincerely hope that we might get a chance to see them all again some point later down the line!
Also that tease at the end. I knew there was going to be more of him, I just KNEW it. Looking forward to seeing who between him and J causes bats the most trouble!
I’m curious, which universe was ur favorite that bats visited?
HHAHHAHAHAHA a Nissan Kicks on the 401. You’re braver than a one-handed Batman! I forget, is St. Catherine Street still the tattoo & piercings capital of the western world? It’s been ages since I’ve been. Enjoy them soggy cheese curds and drive safe!!!
Since this is mostly a post about Batman, I'm writing with a question about Daredevil.
I just finished the first trade paperback and loved it, so I want to keep reading. But given that your run stopped and started and there's Devil's Reign and Woman Without Fear too, I was wondering if you could tell me the reading order for the collections? Please?
The fact that you used a Sealab clip makes me wish I could subscribe a second time.

Can’t believe you’ve already written 900 issues of Batman

Hi... Hope to drop by Crossover Comics tomorrow. Do you think you will have time to do sketches or just doing signings during the stop?

Looking forward to seeing what comes next Chip!!!
I grabbed my copy of Batman a little early, and Holy Cow! That’s a fun book that had me smiling. Drive safe chip and have a great trip!
Way to conquer the 401, Chip! We should rename it the Zdarsky.

Hi Chip,
Congratulations on Batman 900. Enjoy your poutine routine in Montreal. And Zdarcar? Did you abandon Mr. Carlson?
BTW I was so distracted by the unlettered DD 10 art, I did not see the Kaptara pages until a reread, then saw the Beefmaster - 😂 Sizzling!
Happy trails!
