Can't wait to read it! I was thinking tomorrow was Batman day (I actually tweeted about it...guess I'll have to delete that, lol!). So it's a nice surprise to get it a day early. Also, I just finished Public Domain...so good!
Oh, Batman hasn't thought about his parents' death in years. Sometimes he's wandering around Gotham and just walks straight through Crime Alley before he goes "oh yeah! hey, this is where my parents were murdered" to whoever he's with
So do you think Batman wakes up in the middle of the day sometimes, looks at himself in the mirror, and remembers that he’s a multi-billionaire (before Joker War, thanks Tynion) that spends his nights running around in spandex and a cape beating the #### outta regular pieces of #### and the special pieces of #### that wear spandex also, and asks himself, just where did my life go so absolutely ####### bat#### crazy?
I'm sending out books now but waiting on one in the mail. If we send them out but they arrive after August 15th will they be tossed into the Toy Story 3 incinerator or is it ok if they're just a few days late if they were posted by the 15th?
Hey Chip. Quick question regarding the art in your first Batman issue. Jorge's artwork this issue was some of the best I've seen from him, absolutely breathtaking. I was wondering if, being an artist yourself, are your scripts a lot more detailed, with panel descriptions explaining exactly how you envision the art looking, or did you trust Jorge with a much looser script, allowing him to draw it how he sees it? It was a great first issue, and I can't wait to see where it goes next!
I feel like Jorge should not be allowed to make videos....it's just not fair to the rest of us, who's beauty is not eye searing.
