Wow, great job Chip, I am amazed that you managed to survive that large a cross country trip and not fall to little itty bitty Canadian dinosaur pieces by journey’s end. Color me impressed.
Of the ten points you listed, 6 is by far my favorite, and one I will hold you to WHEN you make it states side eventually. Believe it or not, despite how vicious we Yankees can get over comic opinions, we are actually a very welcoming people and would mostly prefer having a good time talking and chatting up nerd stuff (comics or manga of course).
Also there is no problems about taking precautions when it comes to ones health. Gerry Dugan at Mecgaon this year was masked up and He and I still have a lovely conversation about this year’s Hellfire gala for the x-books. ...Big things coming everyone’s way this July!
Finally, and again, kudos for making it all the way through your entire trip Chip. Maybe one day you might get the chance to do the same here in the good old states. when things work out that way of course..maybe...hopefully...begging really...
Now take yourself a super Power Nap when you get a chance and HIT. THOSE. DEADLINES!!!
If you ever make your way down to America’s armpit (Florida) you gotta come to a place called Past Present Future Comics in West Palm Beach!
They’ve been here in business for over thirty years! That’s like, ancient!!! Plus, they host signings for various creators of all kinds all the time! Writers, artists, actors--the whole nine yards!
If you get around to such a trip, come by the eastern shore and check out our little neck of the wood. If u come down in the spring you can hit up the Arts and Crafts festival they have here during that time of year. It’s a heck of a show. And our LCS is freaking awesome!
By the way chip, I figure since you had been working close with Jason Aaron with ur DD run and His Punisher series, you might be able to help me out with something. Did I hear correctly, did Marvel officially retire the character of the Punisher? Cause that, if true, is as big a bummer for me as when they retired classic Nick Fury for JR.
I have no idea! To be perfectly honest I haven't been part of those discussions for a long time now. But, even if they did shelve the character, nothing is forever in comics.
I will say though that I think the character works much better as someone who pops up in other titles rather than having their own title, for a variety of reasons. The exception being Jason's latest series which feels like a perfect final statement on Frank Castle as a primary character.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it! And thank you for inspiring it as well as several other of my creative endeavors. Hope to do it again sometime
Glad you’re also be and brilliant and kind round up ... Wait, did you say you exercise? Also! Odelay and Mutations also works when driving the 90 from NYC to Montreal.
Thank you for making Daredevil sexy again? Or for Charlie Cox making DD sexy again and you giving him a hot beard and I don’t just mean Elektra.
Also my son is very concerned about Batman’s robot hand and all I can tell him is it worked out OK for Luke Skywalker. And glad to see that slacker Henderson is back for some Bat/Cat action!
Yay! Congratulations surviving on your Canadian conquest, Chip. That’s awesome you met so many new readers. Petal to the poutine! Pretty please come to the States, so I can thank you in person for finally making me love Daredevil and Howard The Duck. Sending you Eisner win vibes.
Did you see a moose out west?
I did NOT. I saw Bison though, so that was cool I guess
But I bet that one foot is super ripped now from all that exercise.
yeah it's got a total five pack now (one for each toe)
