Are there plans for a fourth Daredevil hardcover? I just picked up vol 3 but haven't seen anything in the solicits. The current run/relaunch is great by the way!
Second. This month’s issue was incredible! I can’t believe how well Failsafe has been received and how far a reach such a new character is having on the DC world right now (in that he’s gone orson wells on Gotham). Do you think Failsafe has return potential or will he be just for this story you think? I hope we see more from him later on!
But damn, the way he’s taken all the bats off the board is both brutal and brilliant, as is the way he’s making use of Oracle presently. Though I doubt Nightwing approves of what that bucket of bolts is doing with his beau.
So why Aquaman? I know you always say that u use characters that suit the story ur telling, even if u haven’t really though too much of them or what not? Was he really ur best choice for the story, or did you just want to see more of Jorge’s great work with other major heroes, lol?
Last question: how many more issues will the Failsafe arc have?
When I was plotting FAILSAFE I wanted it to be a global chase of sorts, so Atlantis really jumped out as a place for Batman to lay low and regroup. Also, I just knew Jorge would make Aquaman look cool as hell and I wasn't wrong!
And I don't want to spoil anything as for Failsafe's future!
Speaking of Aquaman and Atlantis, why is it u think nowadays the status quo has changed for him so that he cannot be king of his nation, and only a hero?
Why is it current comics have it that so that it’s that he was never meant to rule, or that there was always someone better suited to rule instead of him (ie Mera)?
And something similar is happening with Black Panther. Why do u suppose the cause for changes like these are?
there are definitely stories to be told about being in charge, but I suspect most writers struggle with character arcs and storylines revolving around those duties.
I'm much more interested in a Prince Harry storyline than a King Charles one, you know?
Yes that’s true. But still, I’m sure that there’s a better way of going about it then just saying, you were never good enough for the job, or that there was always someone better suited than you. Kinda seems to shine a poor light on the individual don’t u think?
I disagree. That feels like an end to a story. Fallible, not being the perfect person for a role or destined for it, those ideas interest me. But that's just me!
Yes I absolutely agree. And it’s those imperfect leaders I love to read about. For me I find it a more interesting journey to find someone who may not be the right choice, for reasons, but rises to the challenge and takes on the role in their own way, despite the bay sayers who may think otherwise about said character still. That’s just my thoughts on the subject 👍
U were absolutely right about Jorge. He did Aquaman RIGHT! My only regret was that he didn’t get the chance to have a dragged out fight all across Atlantis with Failsafe, before eventually succumbing to the killer robot!
So I’m curious, why is it when Oracle ends up caught, she’s always being hooked up to machines like a USB port? I mean poor woman, always being hooked up to wires like that. First the Magistrate, now Failsafe. She was right, she and Dick need some r and r.
Well whatever that future is, I hope it will be king and as lasting as other bay villains. It just amazes me how he, being Batman, ALWAYS gets the best villains. Am I right?
Chip,
Why?
Thanks,
Joe
childhood trauma i guess
These people aren't "recognizing" you. They're mistaking you for Steve Carrell in THE PATIENT.
I've only seen the posters but he looks like a very smart and handsome therapist, so thanks, Mark!!

I would imagine there is? I very much do not get consulted on such things, because I am a huge pain in the ass to deal with
I would buy that t-shirt. I hope it happens.
i absolutely schlub it.

First off, AWWW thanks for answering my question!
