That sexy story reminded me of the night I was in bed next to my wife reading issue #15 of your Daredevil run - the issue where he and Elektra bust out of somewhere (too old to remember details) in a corvette and Daredevil kills the lights on the car and drives off down a dirt road into a majestic wood, navigating with his echolocation, which gives Elektra a lady boner and they do it on the hood.
I’ll tell you what - I put that comic down (neatly, bagged and boarded), rolled over onto my wife, and did the best impression of Daredevil I could muster, meaning I killed the lights and put on a blindfold.
She kept saying “I can’t feel it.”
And I was like, “do you feel it?”
And she was like, “no”
And I was like, “no, Elektra says ‘do you feel it?’”
And my wife said, “you need to stop reading comic books.”
Maybe you can get the award for Writing More Books than Kieron? Granted, he's a dashing man about town and you live in the wilderness, so maybe he doesn't have the time? It seems like you should be a lock for that statuette. I just worry that the industry is turning against you. Hang in there!
Really looking forward to your inevitable vampire sex novel. I also have a show called "Interview With The Dracula" where I interview comic creators. Just put that in your back pocket if you ever want to do that for real. And I'm not surprised Joe Q does a great Batman, though Bruce digging is own grave has way more of a "sexy vampire" vibe to it. I assume that is the vibe Jorge was going for.
Feels dirty seeing JQ doing DC work? Says the guy straddling the fence between DC and Marvel at this very moment 😆.
Wow, I have to say, that little short story u dropped, while a bit of classic chip tongue in cheek humor, was actually very nice. Strangely enough it makes me imagine, in a more serious setting, someone like Vicki Vale getting to interview Batman for the first time, and her having a hard time keeping herself professional, because she’s in a room alone with the God $&@! Batman, 🤣.
Very very excited for what u have planned for the new year Chip. I’m assuming someone on the planet, Failsafe is just waiting to drop a “I’ll be Back” or “I’m Back” line for when he next shows up. Though this does pose the question, with how you have written him, is it possible to stop Failsafe at all? He seems like a legitimately unbeatable character, save if someone had some cosmic power to overwhelm him with...but he’d probably have something for that too.
Does that take away any of the fun from the characters? Making him seemingly unbeatable and prepared for everything thrown at him?

That's true. He's a pretty crappy person if you think about it. Too much of a work-a-holic. Too cold to truly show love.
