I don’t think I’ve mentioned this here yet?
Back when Mr. Matt Fraction and I were making SEX CRIMINALS (hold for applause), we had the best letter pages in the world, called Letter Daddies. Every month we’d receive amazing messages from readers talking about their relationships, their sex lives, how much porn they found in the woods, etc. In a lot of ways it was better than the actual comic. Lots of great stories, lots of laughs, lots of Matt and I being absolute morons.
So, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of SEX CRIMINALS, we’re collecting all of the letter pages into one volume: SEX CRIMINALS: LETTER DADDIES!!

Today, THE WHISPER QUEEN #2 is out! And of course I’m mad that the best page doesn’t have any of my precious words on it!!
Man, there is no better combo in comics than Kris Anka and Matt Wilson.
ALSO! NEWBURN VOL. 2 is out this week! I said it was out two weeks ago but I lied to you!! You must have looked like a goddamn fool walking into your shop demanding to buy a comic that wasn’t even out yet!! Ha ha that was my plan all along!!
In some Batman-related news, I participated in a new one-shot called ABSOLUTE POWER: GROUND ZERO, the lead-up to the big DC event this summer! My story was drawn beautifully by V Ken Marion and co-written with Mark Waid! If I could go back in time and tell teen Chip that he would co-write a story with Mark Waid he’d be like “please just tell me who wins the Super Bowl I’m sick of you coming back in time just to fucking brag.”
Anyway, I gave an interview at Newsarama about the project!
In COMIC CONVENTION NEWS, it was just announced that I’ll be at CXC in Columbus!
I love this show. A real celebration of comic books. Highly recommended!

Whisper Queen #2 I get to read later today! Love this world. I'm not sure if you have seen / read Phillip Kennedy Johnson's Last God, but have you considered doing a D&D style issue with character classes and creatures like he did?
Also, forgot to ask this about Batman last time, but is the choice for Zur's Robin partially inspired by the Batman Beyond / Terry genealogy twist from the Justice League cartoon? Is this your way of introducing a Terry McGinnis to Batman?
