As a person who discovered Sex Criminals in trades, I am so hype to finally experience the letters! It is officially pre-ordered.
Whisper Queen #2 I get to read later today! Love this world. I'm not sure if you have seen / read Phillip Kennedy Johnson's Last God, but have you considered doing a D&D style issue with character classes and creatures like he did?
Also, forgot to ask this about Batman last time, but is the choice for Zur's Robin partially inspired by the Batman Beyond / Terry genealogy twist from the Justice League cartoon? Is this your way of introducing a Terry McGinnis to Batman?
this is funny: "If I could go back in time and tell teen Chip that he would co-write a story with Mark Waid he’d be like 'please just tell me who wins the Super Bowl I’m sick of you coming back in time just to fucking brag.'"
question: how would teen Chip feel if you told him that he would have a funny newsletter in the future, but only if you DIDN'T tell him who won the Super Bowl?
ha! Thanks! I can't recall if it was me or matt who came up with LETTER DADDIES back in the day, but it very much sounds like something matt would come up with
Ooh very happy to see the letter pages are getting collected! What a fun, sexy treat for us.
It's a good lookin' package!
Nice! Will the Sexual Gary one shot be part of it?
Nope!

I've not read LAST GOD! Also, I have zero knowledge of D&D so I would be completely lost trying to come up with anything along those lines.
And I didn't even make the JL cartoon connection! Ha!
He co-wrote it with a guy who has done D&D before! You can have help!
Are you saying that even though it was an accident, we can't have Terry?
haha STAY TUNED
Nice! And yeah, there are plans for more Blacksand stories, we just have to find the time!
A book called Letter Daddies releasing on one’s birthday is just about all anyone can ask for in this world, ‘twill be a most enjoyable day

classic Chip! using your powers of self-deprecation in service of other-elevation!
bet you never had to use that muff munching pic in a Batman comic
I bet Chip is saving it for a Black Label - Jim Gordon: Free Mustache Rides mini-series!
Oooh, excited you'll be at CXC!!!
Must. Buy. Letter. Daddies.
That photo makes me think young Guru La (Chip please blame Ed Brubaker for any kinky, mystic sex cult leader imagery in my brain.)
Backtracking, I finally received Avengers Twilight 6 late last week and loved it. Yay!
CXC sounds like a great, intimate comic con too. Nice to see something like that in the midst of larger conventions.
Hope you have a delightful week, Chip.
