Well, the news is out. I’m going to be at NEW YORK COMIC CON next month. Look, I’m on their website and everything!
And yes, I had a new head shot made for the occasion. It’s my first U.S. show in over four years so I wanted it to be special. Charles and I next to each other look like a buddy movie just waiting to happen. I’m the bad boy who can’t stop himself from getting in too deep, and Charles is my weary lawyer who’s been my best friend since we were kids, always bailing me out of trouble. It will be revealed that he’s actually behind all my misfortunes in act three.
So, yeah! I’m excited! It’s gonna be good to be back! I’m officially working with the fine folks at Comic Sketch Art so I’ll be at their booth every day. When I’m not at their booth I’ll be eating convention hot dogs (no condiments, just dry) until it’s time for dinner.

It’s so you can truly appreciate the flavour of the meat. A proper hot dog is greasy enough to simply slide down your throat without the sweet lubricant of a ketchup.

Also! Since I’m going to be at NYCC there will of course be announcements! Marvel already teased something yesterday:
Now, I see a lot of people saying “he’s back at Marvel!” which is very funny since my last Daredevil issue came out just over a month ago. Also, this Avengers project is a long-gestating thing! I handed in my pitch back in 2019! All I’ll say about it is that Daniel Acuña is a master and it is gorrrrrgeous.

Mark and the legendary Howard Chaykin are running an all-day comics course, which actually sounds pretty great. Both of these guys are full of information (too much information?) so if anyone in the area is at all interested in making comics or graphic novels, this is an absolutely perfect event for you.
So go get your tickets! I heard that Mark will be raffling off his Superman baseball hat as well??
