CHIP ARE YOU OKAY

As 12% of you know—according to the “open rate” newsletter statistic that fucking mocks me weekly—my award-considered newsletter was pilfered last week by the coward Ryan Stegman. The reason he did it was because he’s desperate for a Top Platform for his inane ramblings about Kanye. The mechanism by which he did it was using the “lawyer” Charles Soule, who quickly deduced that my lawyer “Quando Deflecto” was simply an alias of mine that I created using a Star Wars name generator, the same name generator that basically writes Charles’ “canon for now” STAR WARS comics.

Up until recently I’ve considered Charles a “public comics friend.” But his machinations now mean I will only be nice to him when he retweets my projects in his timeline and calls me “brother.” The only bright spot in all of this is that he also managed to take over Ryan’s podcast, which ended in flames, with me the Jean Grey Phoenix, rising from those ashes, hungry for Logan and Scott poly realness.

I haven’t listened to it, but I’ve heard it’s quite the thing.

WHAT’S NEW WITH CHIP

The SPIDER-MAN: LIFE STORY collection is out this week! I’m incredibly happy with how this all turned out. The book was a real labour of love and we’ve gone and packed the collection with the cool variant covers, plus my own cover process, featuring the ones I designed that didn’t make the cut! I hope people buy this for themselves and for their loved ones and pass it down to their kids and grandkids!

The extremely talented Elsa Charretier has a Kickstarter for her first ever ART BOOK! I’ve seen a preview of it and it’s very good and will undoubtably be angering to all artists. If you, like me, are fueled by anger, I highly recommend backing this project!
