Things here at ZDARSCO INCORPORATED are wild right now. Doing a photo shoot tonight for PUBLIC DOMAIN #5, finishing the first issue script of a new secret Image project today, and trying to work out how I’m going to manage the three other scripts that are due next week! I’ve never felt more alive!!!

My only book out this week is BATMAN: THE KNIGHT #5! The halfway point of our series! It’s a fun espionage story set in Moscow, a place where I went to just before the 2016 U.S. election to attend a comic convention. Does this mean I’m a Russian asset? Or just a man who had a Russian version of Sex Criminals to promote? I’ll let history decide.
Anyway, it’s INTENSE and my favourite issue yet!
That last panel is such a David Lapham face, which is a VERY HIGH compliment for Carmine! I’m a big Stray Bullets fan.
In other news, I think this is the Italian version of Devil’s Reign? It’s such a cool idea that I hope North American publishers take note and do covers like this. I’m not necessarily a fan of foil or hologram covers. Those feel gimmicky to me. But covers that actually showcase different aspects of the comic art? I’m IN.
And hey, remember last week when I said ALL-NIGHTER was coming back? Well … it’s BACK!!
You can go read issue six right now! Or later! You may have “a job” and need to do “work” to make money and “feed your loved ones” (me, by purchasing my comics). But when you do read it, I hope you love it! The whole team is on fire with this volume. Look how pretty!!!

And that’s it for today! Though I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Friend Of The Stack Kieron Gillen’s new Kickstarter! It’s for his “role playing game” of his “role playing comic book” DIE and it’s only managed to crack 250 thousand pounds, which is a type of money found in the United Kingdom. Is that a lot? Probably not. So go support him with a few tuppence (another type of money they use). Then he can wake up tomorrow and go “tip top cheerio it’s a good ‘un guvner!” and eat his daily banger with a smile.

I’m like a shitty Steve Jobs saying “one more thing” but instead of showing you an iPod that will change the world I’m showing you more stupid links and images. But, in my spare time I like to look at real estate listings in Toronto of places I can’t afford. Recently I was looking at a nice condo, reasonably priced, and then hit this one photo that almost killed me:
Like, holy shit, what a room. I honestly can’t decide if this room represents the best life or the worst life. Like, yeah, sometimes I just want to lie on the floor on a bit of cushioning in a featureless room and rub the magic lamp to some distant images of butts and boobs on a tiny monitor that looks down at me, silently judging. But, also, I don’t. Hard to say!
