I’m not even DEAD yet and Marvel’s writing my eulogy! Yeah, that’s right, they went ahead and announced the DAREDEVIL OMNIBUS through our pals at Near Mint Condition:

Our beloved cover artist Julian Totino Tedesco showed off the cover for volume one (of two) and so I’m here to show it off again, but with my design for it!

Come on! Julian is a BEAST! We really wanted to make this feel big and cool, something you just have to have. It’s still a ways off—July 2024—but you may as well start yelling at your local comic shopkeep ASAP, just so they know how you feel about it (good).

Speaking of Daredevil, this week issue 12 is on sale! Only TWO MORE TO GO!

I don’t want to post a single panel from the inside because it’s all a spoiler. Also, every panel is just gorgeous. It’s me, Marco and Matt straight through to the end and everyone’s giving it their all. Avoid spoilers! Spoilers are the enemy!

Not only is Daredevil out this week, but his DC counterpart Rich Daredevil Who Doesn’t Cry As Much is also out with Batman #136!

This issue acts as a nice epilogue to our wild first two arcs and a nice setup for GOTHAM WAR BIFF POW BOOM coming up in a couple of months! Belén Ortega joins us again for her first time drawing the main story and she knocks it out of the park!

I sure hope the doctor shaved Bruce’s chest where those probes attach. He’s very sensitive to pain!

There’s also an incredibly pretty backup story with art by Jorge Corona about some of Bruce’s seeeeecrets! Both stories are of course beautifully coloured by Tomeu!

I know, right?! I’m a lucky comics man. It’s especially nice getting such a consistent high level of talent on the backup stories! Like when we had Leonardo Romero and Jordie Bellaire for our I AM A GUN arc! I loved working with them so much that I asked my dear editor, Ben Abernathy, if they’d like to come back for more. At that point he started sweating and his eyes started darting around on our zoom call. I finally got him to admit that Leonardo and Jordie had moved on to “better things” and I was sworn to secrecy about it. Turns out they’re relaunching BIRDS OF PREY with Kelly Thompson! I was both furious but also very happy because I really want to read that book. Also, Kelly and I were forged in the fires of Marvel Summits together, a bond that can never be broken, so I forgive her.
