I’m not sure what you’re into, Chip, but this annual sold much better than the already awesome numbers we did on the original Life Story run. A great story, great creators and a little in store hustle, and I ran out of my over order that I did for folks who bought the trades, but hadn’t ordered the one shot!
Oh wow! That's awesome! As a rule I generally don't follow numbers on my books. I just assume they're doing well enough to not be cancelled until I get the phone call that I'm wrong.
I hope this issue means I can get a Spider-Man: Life Story hardcover. I love this universe you crafted. It shows the love and care and that you truly know Spider-Man.
I have the trade but I'm happy to add the hardcover including the annual to my shelf. I really dig the whole concept of Life Story, so I'll check out FF eventually too. I'm allowed to buy books that other people write too, right?

I hope you get to write the character again, whether it's the Spider's Shadow sequel or some main canon project like Spectacular

It's been a year since the Daredevil Annual, does that mean we're starting a "Zdarsky Annual" tradition I can look forward to every August?
Given the format of the original Life Story, why not call the special a "Decennial" instead?
