Whoa Chip, Mr Zdarsky?, I've recently gotten into comic collecting. There are no comic shops where I'm at in the midwest, at least not within a couple hour drive into Kansas City, so I order my comics online. All that to say I have little guide before I found substack on who/what to follow.
Blah blah, I'll get to the point.
Your recent Batman issues have made me not speechless, I roared with Bruce "HE'S MY SON" in #127. I FELT that. I picked up the first issue of Batman The Knight, and your writing really resonates with me. It's so compelling. I can't wait to get to the next page. Needless to say I went and got the rest of the issues out...

I like those homage covers too. I have such a hard time not saying the “h.” I said it like “hah-midge” for so long, I really have to focus and think before saying “o-mahj.” I’m actually not sure how to say it. 🤔
Oh wait I forgot what I actually meant to say, which was thanks for your substack recommendation thing for Scaachi Koul! I read all her funny lists, which led me to some of her other writing which was great, and then to the excellent podcast Scamfluencers! I must always have more #content!!!!
