Can’t believe we are almost finished with JY1. Feels like there should be 2 more issues, but hey, whatever works, right? I’m very excited to see what Dark Prisons has to offer after this arc. Curious, is Failsafe containing all the Zur personas? I can’t recall if it’s just our Zur or every Zur from the multiverse?
And hit damn, that’s some exciting news for James. Think he might be hiring? I’m in the market for new work and definitely wouldn’t mind it being in this line.

When was the last time Batman hung dong? Aside from that one time when it sent editorial into a panic, while Brian Azzarello was at a Comic-Con that weekend in Scotland selling issues of Batman Damned 1 for a wad of cash when my copy of the issue was still being mailed out to me and I had to get some "flashpoint" batman or something signed instead. Will Bats hang dong again, Chip? Isn't this what this is all building up to? It's all Zur's plan right?
It's funny to see someone who puts out content as frequently and regularly as you do joking about doing the "bare minimum." If that's the bare minimum, I'd hate to know what people call what I do.
My birthday is later, you announced more White Trees too early! But thank you so much, that news made my week. I used those two original issues to get non-comic friends to try the medium of comics, and boy howdy, it worked. I really love how that book emphasizes your ability to balance genres, tones and settings.
Joker Year One ended not how I expected, but goddamn
that final chapter was good. Great Gordon stuff and I like your writing of Batman & Joker's dynamic. I also like that there still isn't closure on Joker. We still don't know which one this is, if there are 3 separate people, personalities or both. Or even how much he really learned or already knew before he killed *spoiler* in issue 143. It leaves enough mystery for the Joker's origin while showing how he went from Red Hood to Clown Prince of Crime. Will we ever get more insight on Halliday though?

And so Chip-en-arrh will put Chip "on vacation" so that Zur-en-Zdar can think he's working on his novel so that The Chipster can come out and do their filthy business but is really being replaced by the Three Zipsters. Nighty night.
