True story: My wife drove me from the hospital (nothing too serious) to the comics store Wednesday. Reading DD and Batman while still loopy from the anesthesia was (wait for it) truly a gas.

Chip I have a real question this time! Since you're a bigshot Batman writer now, what are your favorite Batman stories/runs, or some that influenced yours. Any Batman hot takes or stories you think are underrated/overrated?

Also great Batman issue this week Chip! Curious as to what inspired you for ur back up stories? The last one with Zur Enn Arrh I understand, but why dedicate an entire back up story about Toyman? A Superman baddie. No less.
I can only assume it plays into the greater story going on here so that’s why he’s here in this run. Though I wonder if that means he’s unusable for Josh and PKJ’s Superman and Action Comics.
Also yes, the art for Daredevil in this and the last run have been incredible! And this tease has me beyond excited for next issue! I really hope that this marriage between Matt and Elektra stays around long after ur tenure on the character ends. It’s the sorta idea concept like the Kingpin as mayor that can have so much come out of it depending on who writes next.
Speaking of next things, and this is rumor rumor rumor level I’m told, but some report that Spider-Man’s current runs numbers haven’t been as good as they usually are, and maybe looking to change out creatives. IF that were a true statement, and IF you were offered it, would taking on the main Spider-Man title be something you’d be interested in?
U did a great story with Spiders shadow, and I’d honestly very much like to see what you’d do for webs after everything you have done with horn head!
